Hvítserkur Spiced

Eggnog

About 1.5 litres – perfect for the Christmas party.

Ingredients

400 ml Hvítserkur Spiced
6 eggs
200–300 g sugar
700 ml milk
350 ml cream
Nutmeg

Method

Separate the eggs and put the yolks in a large bowl. Whisk with an electric whisk, adding the sugar little by little, until the mixture thickens and turns pale – you may not need all the sugar. Slowly add the milk and cream while whisking, then the rum. Chill well and serve in cups with grated nutmeg. Merry Christmas.
