Loki Vodka and Rökkvi join Stuðlaberg in Hovdenak's range
The international trade magazine The Spirits Business reported that Hovdenak Distillery was moving into two new categories: a potato vodka and a cold-brew coffee liqueur.
Loki Vodka (40%) is made from potatoes and Icelandic water. Rökkvi (20%) was developed together with Te & Kaffi from cold-brewed coffee and is aimed at cocktails such as the Espresso Martini.
The magazine also described the distillery's first product, Stuðlaberg Gin, which is distilled under vacuum with juniper, citrus, orange, cardamom and liquorice.
Nordic Gin House was named as the partner handling international sales of the new products.
