Rökkvi: a new Icelandic coffee liqueur in time for Christmas
Hovdenak Distillery's new coffee liqueur Rökkvi reached the shelves before Christmas 2020, and mbl.is welcomed it with a creamy coffee cocktail.
The food section of mbl.is called the new liqueur unusually well made, with a bold coffee flavour.
To go with it the paper shared a recipe for a Rökkvi frappuccino: Rökkvi shaken with cream and ice, poured over caramel and topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. The article also mentioned Loki, another brand from the same distillery.
