Coocoo's Nest was a small family-run restaurant at Grandagarður 23, opened in 2013 by chefs Íris Ann Sigurðardóttir and Lucas Keller in one of the first new places to open on Grandi. Coocoo's Nest was a small family-run restaurant at Grandagarður 23, opened in 2013 by chefs Íris Ann Sigurðardóttir and Lucas Keller in one of the first new places to open on Grandi. It was known for sourdough bread, pizzas and a brunch that the Reykjavík Grapevine named the city's best more than once. The couple put the business up for sale in autumn 2022 and served their last brunch on 30 December 2022; in 2023 Hraðlestin opened in the space.
