Dynheimar (c. 1971–?) – Lost Tables
Hafnarstræti 73 was built in 1923 for the Akureyrarbíó cinema, and in 1945 the men's choir Geysir bought it and named it Lón, with the new Akureyri Music School moving in a year later. The choir leased the house to the town in 1971, and the town bought it in 1975.

As Dynheimar it became the municipal youth club and, for just over thirty years, a music venue where up-and-coming bands played concerts and rehearsed, alongside dances and discos. The era ended when the youth club moved to Rósenborg. The theatre company later used the building as Rýmið, and it is now a hotel that still carries the Dynheimar name.
