Marshall Restaurant + Bar opened in March 2017 on the ground floor of the newly renovated Marshall House at the end of Grandagarður, which had become home to galleries and artists' studios. It was run by chef Leifur Kolbeinsson of La Primavera fame, with a Mediterranean-leaning menu of fresh fish, vegetarian dishes and pasta in a bright room overlooking the harbour. In November 2018 La Primavera, closed since 2011, reopened in the room – at first announced as temporary – and it has been La Primavera Marshallhúsið ever since.
