Rósenbergkjallarinn (Bíókjallarinn) (1991–1998) – Lost Tables
Rósenbergkjallarinn opened in 1991 in the basement under Tunglið, at first a cross between a rock bar and a dance club. Around 1994 it became the headquarters of Iceland's young rave scene, packed with rave kids and rockers alike.
Rósenbergkjallarinn opened in 1991 in the basement under Tunglið, at first a cross between a rock bar and a dance club. Around 1994 it became the headquarters of Iceland's young rave scene, packed with rave kids and rockers alike. DJ Kári, one of the scene's DJs, remembered it as a down-and-dirty party basement where sweat dripped from the ceiling. The club was later sold and drifted back towards being a rock hangout. It burned together with Tunglið on 30 July 1998 and was never reopened.
