Samkomuhúsið í Vestmannaeyjum (1938–1993) – Lost Tables
The Independence Party association built a grand new hall on the blasted-down Mylnuhóll, where the old Good Templar house had stood, between October 1936 and January 1938. It opened on 22 January 1938 and was then the second-largest assembly hall in Iceland, after Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík.

It opened on 22 January 1938 and was then the second-largest assembly hall in Iceland, after Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. For decades it was the islanders' main venue for dances and entertainment, and it was extended in 1963–65. In 1993 the Pentecostal church bought the building, renovated it and moved its services there in 1995. The old dance hall is now a church, though it is still the islands' best room for concerts.
Hvítasunnukirkjan (Pentecostal church), still used for concerts
