Sólon (1992–2025) – Lost Tables
From 1992 the house at Bankastræti 7a was home to Sólon, which over three decades served by turns as a café, bar, nightspot and restaurant at the top of the downtown strip. The business changed hands several times, most recently in 2021, and was given a costly renovation around 2023.

The business changed hands several times, most recently in 2021, and was given a costly renovation around 2023. Rising wages, interest rates, supply costs and the aftermath of the pandemic proved too much, and the operating company went bankrupt in early 2025. In May 2025 the owner handed back the keys, ending some 33 years of Sólon in Bankastræti.
Empty after the closure; the property owners were weighing the future of the space in 2025.
